Hit or miss with service. Some way over qualified and others can't even put the products in the bag...

You need to go see Bijan in men’s clothing. I had picked out a couple blazers and was walking around upstairs in a different department when Bijan approached me. He saw what I had in my hands and went out of his way to make sure I was happy with what I chose and to see if I had any questions. I explained to him that I was shopping for my twin brother who is the same size and I was going to go to ups and ship him what I was buying. He told me not to worry and walked with me back to men’s clothing. He told me he was going to find the items I chose online and have them shipped to my brother for free. He also showed my some specials on slacks that I missed so I picked up a pair. What a complete professional who has worked for Macy’s for 21 years!!!!!

Purchased the ‘WorryNoMore’ policy on our mattress purchase ($3k mattress). This was fortunate, as our mattress had defects. We decided to get a mattress that was a bit more expensive. At the time of delivery, we were charged full price for the new mattress and told we’d receive reimbursement once the defected mattress was returned (why not just charge us the difference?). Regardless, we waited for that reimbursement, for a week, and never saw it. So at this point, we’ve paid $8k for one mattress without reimbursement. We waited on hold for an hour and were told it should process any time. We waited another week without any reimbursement and called again. I was told that it had been credited to our account and I should be seeing it and that there was nothing more they could do. That was obviously troubling and I persisted. It was then found out after a long while that they had reimbursed a card that no longer existed from a purchase we made at Macy’s on the first mattress in 2013. I then gave my updated credit card information for reimbursement, which was said to post in 2-3 business days. And guess what? Instead of crediting my account, they charged me the $3k that should have been credited. So at this point, I have a $4k one month old mattress I have now been charged $10k for. I know this will all eventually get worked out, but jeez.. if we didn’t have enough issues; several calls for something so simple. It’s embarrassing and I’ll never set foot in Macy’s again. There is something systemically wrong with this company now. It used to be a staple of this nations retail market. Now it’s a joke.. avoid.

Shopping today for my wife's birthday next week. Had a specific list in mind, found everything I needed. At payment I was given unexpected day-only discounts and the seller went the extra steps to get boxes and tissue papers for gift wrap. Very satisfied with pricing and service.

Came in because there was a sale, and I usually find more brands that fot me here due to my odd body shape. I refuse to buy something without trying it on. I realize that there is a pandemic happening, but Macy's policy on sales items and lack of open fitting room would have meant that anything I didn't fit into right would have been wasted money. Don't go here if you are not 100% on your sizes in every brand. No fitting rooms to be had at all. Also, the store has no clear labels for petites and larger except on the clothes themselves. Very confusing.
