85C Bakery Cafe - Portland

Place is great for Asian style bakery. I'm not too crazy for their flavor selection but store is clean and the staff keeps the shelves well stocked. FYI - this bakery is on the expensive side but worth a try if you haven't tried it before.

Too long of a line

I've noticed that many popular bakeries/restaurants are super overhyped but do not deserve it, I just don't see anything special about them. They are repeats of other food chains and honestly taste the same. But 85C delivers and man do they deliver well. You get quality and UNIQUE snacks/bread/drinks for the price, and staff never falls short of being super polite especially during the pandemic. Go there and support one of Oregon's best bakeries.

OMG THIS PLACE IS BOMB!! They have all kinds of buns. They are always fresh and the store busy. Very good price $1-$2 buns, and their bubble teas and smoothies are delicious as well. Get the custard swirly bun so good!!
