I LOVE the shortcake biscuits and have been known to go to the Beaverton’s Farmers market right when they open with the sole purpose of buying some before they sell out. They are light and heavy at the same time, with just the right amount of sweetness and a tender crumb. Which is also the same description I would give of the chocolate chip mousse cake I just bought. I can’t wait for some more family birthdays so I can try some others. Plus you are supporting a local business and not a large chain and right now that is of dire importance.

The frosting on my cupcake was amazing! A raspberry lavender. The sausage biscuit was delicious. I could tell that the bread was amazing but I was too distracted by the fact that it was cold. Bummer because I could tell the taste would have been amazing if it were just warmer.

The Carrot cake was awesome. My wife and I were celebrating our 5th year of marriage and our bakery went out of business last year so we had to find some place new to get a cake. The online ordering was very easy and it only took 2 days. I was very impressed with the selection of cakes I will be trying more.

I bought a salted honey custard pie and some macaroons from her at the Beaverton farmer's market this past weekend. SO. GOOD. I am an avid baker but struggle with pie crust and custards, this was a special treat. And her macaroons were perfect. Highly recommend, can't wait to try more :)nnEdit: tried the Barbara pie -chocolate chips, hazelnut, and orange zest. It’s amazing!

I love this cute bakery. They are so nice and thoughtful in here. I love to sit and just enjoy a cup of coffee and a macaroon. The colors are peaceful and I always feel welcome. Amazing pastrys. They also did our sons wedding cake which was gorgeous and was a huge hit!! Thank you Mindy for giving Hillsboro such a lovely spot to relax.
