At this place you won’t know exactly how much money you will make week to week due to their off putting mathematical formula combining hourly & mileage that varies from mill to mill. Don’t expect that you will be getting a raise ever as a new driver makes the same as the most senior driver. You will also be just a warm body with a number that’s just a steering wheel holder to them where you will be used 70 hours a week, no overtime pay because trucking companies are exempt from having to pay it, Walsh takes full advantage of that law. They look for the most ignorant hires to become dispatchers, so to the experienced drivers you already know what will happen to you there. If you want to be mad almost every day then this place is for you

I have been with them for 19 yrs and have held many positions with them. Yes the core of the operation is based on family's. The driver that stayed the longest lasted 45 years!nnThey may not be the perfect company. But they try to accommodate each drivers needs and situations.

Good friendly place to work

Best company ever my husband has been for a about 4 years and they are very family oriented, my brother passed away and they were very lenient with my husband being able to attend the funeral in another state as well allowing him the time for medical issues for both himself and me. I couldnt ask for a better company for my husband to have joined on with thanks for being awesome Walsh's:)
