This location is one of the few stores chosen as innovation centers. We visited today near noon. I did see 3 self-checkouts that were installed near the exits. Some observations:n1. The 3 checkouts were near the exits with no directional signingn2. To get to the new self checkouts it was necessary to walk past the working checkouts.n3. Several checkouts were not staffed but chains prevented passing through the aisle to access the check outsn4. People queuing at the new self-checkouts prevented an easy exit.n5. There was a CSM directing those in queue at the self-checkouts, but it was difficult to walk past customers active in the check outs.nWalmart--why not put these at the end of end-caps at the end of a counter. Yes that would reduce display space but would at least support a successful pilot.

I've never been inside this store. The parking lot is spacious. Will update once I visit.
