I was looking for a dining table with four chairs. Roy met me at the door and wanted to know if he could help me. I told him what I was looking for and he took me back to the area to show me some tables. I saw one I liked and was asking him about different chairs that I could get with it. He told me to just go ahead and look around and if I needed more help to come look for him and left. I wanted to get some answers from him to my questions and I wanted to see how the table looked with the leaf removed. I sat there and waited on him for about 10 minutes and he never returned but two other salesman came over and asked if they could help me. They took the leaf out and showed me how the table looked with it out. I decided to buy it so they called Roy to come back over and finish the sale. I guess they must work on commission. Roy came over and wrote all the specifications on a business card and told me to take it back to the back and they would write it up. Eventually, Roy showed back up and finished the sale. By then I was pretty much done with him and I let him know that I was disappointed with his customer service He said he was sorry but he was very busy and he had other customers. I told him that I was busy as well, and didn’t appreciate having to wait around for him. When I got there I noticed in the parking lot there were very few cars. I only saw three other customers that were just walking around inside looking at furniture, and I saw two other salesman that were not waiting on any customers. If you go to Hanks be sure you try to find someone other than Roy to wait on you. Don’t meet me at the front door and ask if you can help if you are not willing to help.

We thought our experiences were positive until we looked at the charges we had paid for and or payments and see that they had over charged us. After going a few months round and round with the store and home office, we still aren't resolved. We were told after the first told that home office was going to take care of refunding our card. A month later, nothing. Now they are saying the girl that helped before was incorrect and that home office sees no issue. We have to provide papers showing proof, even though it's in their system with all invoices and payments. I simple math is too much to ask from them. I highly recommend that if you are using then you need to pay closer attention to your charges and payments. Because if they owe you money, you won't be seeing it.

Dylan McNamara (sales associate) made my shopping experience at Hanks great. He made several phone calls to find me the exact sofa I was looking for and even was able to get a sale price on it. He was quick and knowledgeable. I will definitely make this my first stop when shopping for furniture.

Phillip Kaess is an awesome salesman. I was shopping for a sectional. He showed me all the options then let me shop on my own occasionally checking on me. I had to shop at other stores so he gave me his cell to text or call. During the following week I sent him about 10-15 texts asking about the sectional and table and chairs I was interested in. He answered all of my questions very quickly. I asked him about using 8 chairs with the table so he rearranged the table with 8 chairs and sent me the picture of it. He measured the sectional again for me. I ended up buying all of it from him the following weekend. I would definitely ask for him the next time I shop for furniture.

Every step of the way, from initially walking through Hank's door, to having our furniture delivered, was truly professional, informative, and helpful. This couldn't have been a better experience.
