Shell Coles Express Hastings Point

When Nick worked at Shell, he was always friendly when you would walk in but now the staff lack any basics with customer service. Just to smile and say hi would be nice. I walked in on the weekend and the young man at the counter didnt even acknowledge me when I said hello. BP at Hastings always provides a cheerful face and a hello as you walk in the door.

I pushed my motorcycle in as I'd run out of fuel and they turned their lights off. Just got a 'sorry mate, there's a bp up the road'. It's over a km away. Couldn't care less. Also, it's 8pm, they're supposed to close at 9pm.

Reasonable Service Station.nFriendly staff. Air and water available. Far less busy than the BP but with shorter opening hours and a lesser range of goods.nHas competitive prices with the BP further up. Air and water available.

Local service station for fuel and gas etc. but not the cheapest around with usually 2-3cpl cheaper fuel at Chinderah BP and the gas bottle swap $10 cheaper at Bunnings. So, if you're desperate, it's convenient, but you pay for itnnAnd, don't try and find a toilet here ... they'll send you down the road to the local public toilets.
