Great collection of items. I finally finally found Seekh Kebabs at an Indian Store which a lot of Indian stores dont stock because they are vegetarian. I don't understand that but anyhoo the person at the counter was quite pleasant and had a great chat with him. Thank you for keeping Seekh Kebab. Seriously !!!

This little shop has a great range of produce for its size. It carries a wide range of spices and pastes, fresh and frozen chapati n roti, frozen foods such as samosa, bulk rice, popular Indian treats, fresh Indian pastries, yogurts, cold drinks, henna etc. The staff are friendly enough. Their is a small step into the shop so it's not wheelchair friendly. It is a tight squeeze for a pram also.

I have been at this place a few times over the last few years.nnThe only good thing I can say about this place is that it is well organised and has a range of products. That's it.nnThe main problem I have with this shop is that they keep expired, spoilt, inedible stuff and don't have a problem selling it. I picked up papad the other day, they were 5 months past expiry and had insects crawling under them. Another time I picked up a bottle of chutney, it was expired, when pointed out to the person at the counter, he said it is the supplier who messes it up. Another friend of mine had a similar experience with the dal (lentils) and when he had pointed it out, the shopkeeper claimed ignorance again.nnThe fact is that this gentleman knows exactly that he keeps old, expired stuff trying to sell it off but when confronted he often pleads ignorance.nnTheir arrogance is another problem. If you ask them something they talk as if they know it all. Which is fine. But they are arrogant and sound rude most of the time while doing that. This review might sound like a witch hunt but I know I speak for a few here.
