Harvey Norman @ Domayne Belrose

Visited today looking for a bedroom heater. A salesperson offered me some assistance within 2 minutes and was super friendly and offered some great advice. Being a bit techie and automating things at home, I had a few different questions and they promptly found someone else to fill in the gaps and helped me to make a simple decision.nnThey then argued amongst themselves to give the other person the sales commission which I thought was very sweet. After purchasing a brand new fridge and unpacking it at home I discovered the fridge was extremely dented. Gratefully the team in the display room arranged to swap the fridge around with the warehouse. Two staff were there to help at the warehouse. Frank, the younger staff was helpful and understood the issue with the fridge straight away. The older male staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I pointed out to him where the damages were, he was very dismissive and rude implying that I had damaged the fridge. When bringing out the new fridge and putting it into my car, he was forcefully pushing it into the back of my car. I had to tell him to stop as it was stuck and was hitting the back seat and he needed to angle the fridge differently to get it in. He replied and said he could see it was stuck but continued to very roughly push the fridge, with no concern or care. I also tried to help him and he was very rude to say that I would damage it, all the while he is the one continuously slamming the fridge into the seat of the car.nnThis was extremely poor service. Based on this entire experience, I would not recommend Harvey Norman!

While they have some very knowledgeable sales staff they have an equal number who know nothing. However the topping on the cake is the abusive and physically intimidating warehouse staff who are willing to go to any length to deliver bad customer service. I was a hairs breath from calling the police which this particular staff member thought was funny as he didn't think leaning into my face and threatening me was assault. If you are lone female do not pick up from this warehouse.

We bought a kitchen bundle through Harvey Norman, Belrose and it was hands down the best and most honest customer service we have received in our search.nnDaniel Reisemann was our appliance specialist and he deserves more than a 5 star rating. Staff have great knowledge and the variety of products on displays is really high, so a great place to compare stuff. Only down side is I do always feel like I’m being sold something rather than being helped by the staff. Having said that, they are obviously on commission at Harvey Norman so that is their job.
