Shell Coles Express Halfway Creek

Stopped here around 3.30pm, Sunday the 6th of June, went into the restaurant and the younger female bistro staff were beyond rude from start to finish!! The facial expressions, the tone of voice and even a blatant eye roll when I was standing atleast 1.5metres from the counter looking at the menu and 'she was ready' to take my order, when I stated I was still looking at the menu she literally eye rolled and walked away. If i was standing at the counter at the time I could understand some frustration but I was clearly not ready to order yet and didn't feel I was inconveniencing her enough to warrant that response. My son very politely asked if they had straws, she didn't even talk just nodded her head to the side to direct him. When collecting the food we had ordered we still thanked them and were not given even a friendly smile let alone a 'you're welcome' in response. The level of rudness was beyond anyone who chooses to work in customer service. Moving on to the state of the bathrooms is down right disgusting and being so close to the servery area is spew worthy! Had I of seen this BEFORE we ordered we would have left and got a pie down the road.

We called in on our way back from Qld, Very disappointing, toilets were absolutely filthy, the dinning room was not much better. the food was disgusting, my husband could not eat what he ordered.nThis place could do with a visit from the department of health!

BE AWARE, EXPENSIVE FUEL!nGrumpy old lady will flash you a fake smile for free.nI will not stop here again.

I stopped at this Servo recently...(June 2021) heading South to Sydney from the Gold Coast...nUnfortunately, I found the staff to be non tentative & toilets beyond dirty.. I am lost for words...nTime to clean up your act Shell/Coles... Disgusting....

Absolutely filthy toiletsnJust not good enough especially in these covid pandemic times you guys really need to clean them and check them for nite travellers
