We requested and prepaid for a minivan. On arrival the clerk said they did not have a minivan available and offered us a Chevy Suburban. My daughter was the driver and was not comfortable driving such a large vehicle in Old Quebec City where we were staying. I could see at least 2 minivans on the lot but he said something regarding them and the airport and he could not allow us to have one of those. In short, we had no choice but to take the Suburban because we were six people. Fortunately, my daughter had no problems with the oversized car but we will never rent from Avis again.
The rental agent was very nice, but the rental agent never mentioned that a charge of $ 350 would be automatically charged to my card. No pre or post rental escort service but I was reimbursed for the taxi costs to pick up the car. Costco's promotional price was not respected. Good choice of cars.
Fast service! Never a problem and always good vehicles!
They rented me an accident vehicle ...
