Always my first choice! Very organised, simple and fast procedures to rent with National. Professional and friendly staff. Im more traveling to west of Canada , and I love Calgary airport branch , also Edmonton airport. These guys are amazing. As an Emerald member , see a large variety of nice cars ,sometimes takes a while to make up my mind and pick one! 😊 Thank you National !

Agent at Edmonton International Airport (YEG) was simply amazing. Turned a potentially sad situation into a customer experience worth sharing. I was unprepared for my 1st Covid car rental. Emerald Aisle had only three vehicles. Agent came over from check out booth to help me. She had sensed my disappointment. After explaining the situation to me and recognizing my disappointment she offered to rent the only premium car to me for no additional cost. Simple act of kindness and understanding has me writing this review. Entire experience was flawless. Thank you National Car Rental for your consistent attention to the car rental experience!

Extremely rude agent on return. My wife and I tried to explain that they had to replace the wiper blades. It was clearly damaged when we received the vehicle, and not safe to use in the snowy Albertan conditions. WOWWW - were we ever told that essentially we are stupid as all car wipers in Alberta does this!!! What he did not knowid that Alberta is our home...Terrible. Never been treated worse.
