We stayed her for 5 nights and very happy we did. We did not have time to make use of the pool or hot tub but wished we had. They both looked inviting. The restaurant was closed (probably Covid related) which was disappointing as the free breakfasts would probably have been even better. Instead, they offered muffins, granola bars, yogurts, fruit cups, coffee, water, juice, coffee etc. Nothing to write home about, but perfectly acceptable to us. The restaurant rooms looked like a great place for a wedding or big event. The fitness centre was being renovated, but we would not have used it anyways as we would rather swim. The rooms have all been renovated and looked great and were very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The car park is a bit rough and needs a resurface The hotel exterior still needs a renovation to make it more attractive. However don't let that put you off staying there. Great value for money and we would stay there again for sure, especially as such a good central location.
Trains going by about 100 meters/yards away from our window, the A/C barely put out, the hot tub didn't work (told it was due to Covid19) but the pool wasn't heated either and very cold, not quite polar bear swim cold but close enough. Hallways were low and dated but the room itself was nice and so was the front lobby. Staff were the best part of this hotel. Breakfast was alright, more options than most during this Covid19 situation
Great place super friendly staff. Room are all updated and very comfortable and clean.
The biggest mistake the management of Super 8 made was letting go Leah one of there best servers. I went to Super 8 because when she worked I recieved great service , fantastic conversation and good and enjoyable humor. Drinking was secondary. I now spend my money elsewhere for I don't find this place enjoyable anymore.
Super 8 you have lost a long term customer.
It was nice and quite clean. No elevator. Nice area for dog walking. Sadly, it is adjacent to a railway track and the trains go by frequently.
