CIBC Branch with ATM

I have been dealing with this bank for 35 years I think. I have never had a problem. My card was compromised twice and was called by them to correct it so they advise you and watch your account. I was not charged and treating kindly and quickly. I have stood in line on occasion but never too long. I am an organized person so don't go last minute or rush time to get help. Bring back the customer service reps for face-to-face, efficient service! Teller stations are gone at Austin Ave branch— 45 minutes for service (exceptional service) by the only service rep there. Burquitlam branch— One customer ahead of me being served, again by the sole service rep in front area. 30 minute wait for service, while five more customers form line behind me. Customers want face-to-face contact. Close tellers at select branches to cut costs, however, ensure tellers remain at central branches or I will move my banking elsewhere.

CIBC is the worst bank ever. So rude. If you aren't a client they won't help you with anything. I wanted a $20 broken for 2 10's and they refuse to do even that. I would never open an account with a bank that won't show the least bit of humanity.

The worst bank ever I went today to deposit cash and coins to make sure my upcoming payment wouldn’t bounce I was there at 530 the site says they are open till 7pm but they told me only 6. Still I was a half an hour before closing time and was told that they already closed out there tolls and wouldn’t not help. Somebody called in sick I was told so they wouldn’t help me even though there were no customers other then myself. The woman then told I should go to the Lougheed branch instead. No customer service at all just a bunch of miserable rude employees who don’t give a damn about the customer. Ridiculous nonsense.

Promised to call to release funds, said she would do it right away, she didn't. This isn't the first time it's happened, CIBC is probably the WORST bank I've ever had the displeasure of using. The receipt that they give you is extremely old fashioned and even the date stamp is wrong. SOLUTION: BANK SOMEWHERE ELSE
