BMO Bank of Montreal

Went in because I lost my wallet with my bank card and ID and I wanted to cancel my card as it had tap. They told me they weren't able to because I didn't have ID. I told them I could verify any security questions and provide other ID besides my drivers license. The branch manager kicked me out. I checked my online bank today and someone drained my account and I still don't have ID to cancel my account.

We recently moved our home line of credit to BMO SAINT ALBERT and have REGRETTED our choice for the past three months. We have not had one payment come out of our account at the correct time and we have had 2 payments not come out at all....there goes our spotless credit rating. Communicating with staff has been USELESS. DO NOT engage this inept and incompetent "bank" under any circumstances. And I would not give even one star, but am forced to do so to post this warning.

I can’t believe how well i was treated here! Not only did I get greeted with a smile, I also was given great banking advice, and felt very confident walking out of BMO. If I could give more than 5 stars to the lovely lady who helped me, Breanne, I would.

I always have very good service when I am with Shengnan, and the service is generally quick. Last time she helped me change my saving plan which suit my needs and suggested some other changes that I am looking into. She is very informative and professional. Thanks for the coffee, very tidy place.

I see why this particular location has a low rating. I don’t recommend this location. I needed to deposit a check and went all the way to the bank to deposit it with a teller. A lady comes up and tells me I can deposit it at an atm or mobile. And I told her no. I need to deposit it with a bank teller because that’s what they are there for. Not to tell me what I already know. So she tells me I can deposit my check in mobile and lied about telling me they can remove the hold of I deposited on my phone. And I believed her. And they did some thing on a iPad and told me they can’t remove the hold. I am absolutely never coming back to this location because of how the lied to me and forced me to deposit a check on my phone.
