They really have nailed customer service. I’ve rented 30 plus days this year and wherever I go the “helpfulness level” is always high. Generally you get to chose your car, which I love.

Great experience! Emerald Isle is a great feature especially in these conditions. Both attendants at check in and drop off were efficient and courteous. Added bonus was driving a Q7!!

Unlike the usual corporate level of service afforded our company that uses National as their corporate rental car provider the recent service last week at the Montreal airport location was dreadful. I arrived late in the evening at the location to be told there were no cars available. The staff member was very apologetic but clearly it was out of his hands. The management decision to have minimal cars at the airport meant that even corporate customers that book a week ahead risk being stranded at the airport and have to get a cab to their destination or find a local hotel. I was fortunate in that my hotel was only a $70 cab fare away and I was able to have my colleagues take me back to the airport the next day disrupting his and my work schedules. National did reimburse me the next day for the Cab fare and again were apologetic. I am not sure how long this deliberate lack of cars will carry on at this location but if you arrive late beware!

Unfortunately this place is so messed up due to covid in the head of some important ppl, In the passed they where so busy always full with customers and quick service decent priced, NOW u walk in it seems like a cemetery, no people, no vehicles, no employees, no good prices...

With COVID happening, I would assume that there would be fewer renters. Flights and hotels are empty. That is why it doesnt make sense that there were no, none, zilch, nada cars available in the lot when I arrived. I had to wait and eventually was given an econemy car from an agency next door. Not what I signed up for
