This location has your standard layout. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I do find that they often lack stock which is disappointing; however, it doesn't take long to get the items in store once you ask an associate about them.

Good selection of craft items at a good price. Could buy from amazon but this place is nice you can actually browse and they leave you alone. I always find new medium for crafting. Friendly staff. Clean/organized store.

Had a wonderful experience in the red deer Michaels arts and craft store. Halloween display was being put up. Staff at entrance was happy and inviting. Ask staff for help four times for direction to specific items very helpful and supplies were great was able to get all I was needing cashier grace was awesome and assisted us with all our needs . Thank you Micheals in red deer . Thanks for doing your part with social distancing as well all supplies were at front door and easily accessible. A wonderful experience all around.

As a man who jumps from one creative format to another I really like the Michael's chain but the lack of inventory and somewhat standoffish floor staff at this location is less then ideal. **Much more consistent with Cov-19 precautions since the new measures were announced however this has led to some very long waiting lines over the weekend due to occupancy restrictions and increased traffic ahead of the holidays.**

I normally love this Michaels location but over the past few months I have not been happy with this store. I run a small business and get a lot of my supplies here as the website does not ship to PO Boxes. 9/10 what I am looking for is out of stock in the store, which is highly frustrating as you now have to wait in line to get in. The store itself looks empty. The staff at the checkout are nice, I hate to have to yell my phone number through my mask and through plexiglass at them though.
