Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I am writing to report the unsatisfactory service provided by your personnels at 2005 Eglinton Ave East. (Branch manager: Kurt) I booked the car online for 1 day rental from June 30 to July 1, 2020. I understand that I will be returning the car on a statutory holiday since it was Canada Day but online booking allowed me to return it on Lawrence branch. On the day I picked up the car, one of your staff (male, resemblance of Chinese or Japanese nationality, newly cut short black hair, around 5 feet 9 inches tall, slim figure) provided assistance and CONFIRMED that I can return the car on the Eglinton branch. He also CONFIRMED that I can return the car after 2 days WITHOUT extra payment since the branch will be closed. I was reluctant so I asked again but he GUARANTEED the information and even said "you are a lucky guy". With all this, and in good faith, I believed him. So I returned the car on July 2, 2020 around 10am and Kurt, the branch manager, assisted me. The return process went well but he asked me to pay for 2 days and so I explained to him what happened previously. The staff that assisted me was not in yet but Kurt and I agreed that he will not charge anything until he speaks with the staff and promised to give me a call. As of now, I have NOT RECEIVED any call from the branch, and my account has already been charged for 2 days. I understand that I have signed a rental agreement and I was not able to follow that, so I am accepting the charges. However, what I would like to happen is for your office to file this letter as an official complain to both staff for providing FALSE and MISLEADING information to a client. I trust that your office will take action on this.

I was given a rental car by my insurance company and connected with Kurt to pickup my car. The drivers license was lost at the scene of the accident and he would not take a photocopy or photo of my drivers license instead. The review below talks about Kurt being an absolute nightmare to deal with and I can confirm he is an absolute nightmare to deal with. I have no idea how this guy is the manager. Also during Covid 19 service Ontario is not replacing/ or extending drivers licenses. So I’m not sure why Kurt has no knowledge of this and is unable to serve his clients using a valid/ active/ copy of a drivers license. Safe to say I’ll never do business with this location.

Great service..I wish more of your locations were open on Sundays or they offered after hours drop off (only a very few do). Time to get have that competitive edge.

I've been renting from Enterprise, specifically the location on Eglinton Ave. in the Golden Mile plaza, for many years. The employees at this location, without exception have always maintained a high level of professionalism. They're friendly, courteous and they're always accommodating. They have earned my loyalty. I've sent several neighbours to this location and they have had nothing but positive experiences with Enterprise as well. I've been dealing with CJ most recently and I have always been more than satisfied with the level of custom service I've received. I'm looking forward to my next rental. Thanks Enterprise! ~Lindy

Excellent customer service experience! The staff were fast, friendly and efficient. I needed a car due to an accident, they dealt with insurance and coordinated pick ups and drop offs with me and the body shop doing the work on my car - no follow ups or chasing from my end! In this very fast paced life we lead this was great. Left me smiling. Highly recommend this location. You won't be disappointed.
