Discount Location d'autos et camions

Not the best place to loan a car. I was sent there by my insurance to get a replacement car. Did not get a choice, they give me a crashed car, the front bumper and a part of the left side was damaged by someone before me. That’s fine, the car was in condition to take the road. Everything was fine during my loan, few days after I returned the car and didn’t have any problems. A month after I found a transaction on my credit card made by them with out any notification, they just pulled out some money from my account. I called them the day after and seems like the problem was caused by my insurance company. The employe of Discount told me that they sent me a letter to notify about the transaction but I never get the letter, even if they have the right address. Bottom line, Discount is responsible to notify anyone before any transaction, otherwise people can request charge back of those transactions as Discount failed to follow the rules, sending a letter which you are not sure people will get do not allow you to proceed a transaction, even if you have a security deposit

Other than a location mix up with the online reservation it was a fine experience. They were quick to resolve the mix up and I got a great car, and honored the agreement. Thanks!

I would stay away from discount. I rented a lemon. When it broke they left me stranded for days with no car and my rental budget tied up.
