CIBC Branch with ATM

Waited for about 45 minutes in line just to see a teller. 40 of which were outside in a line up of people just waiting to get into the building. I saw about 7 people leave and it was nearly empty inside and the security was too busy chit chatting to even bother to send more people into the building. 3 security guards for the one location and not one of them could even send people in to ensure speed of service. I had to flag down the socialite guard to check if we could even go inside and once we were in he tried to send me to the ATM. Once inside at the teller finally I was asked to write down what I wanted for privacy purposes and she repeated it loudly within earshot of multiple people - I’m extremely disappointed in this location. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The security guards they’ve hired for this COVID lineup at the bank are trash; too busy not paying attention to the doors or numbers in the store, thus causing a larger lineup than necessary. Bank staff need to be as attentive for their numbers outside as well as inside. Poor customer service.

Banks continue to experience record profits, the highest ever recorded, and yet here I stand outside in a line of 15 waiting for service at a bank in Canada. With a security guard. For what I expect will be no less than one hour. A bank that I have been a customer of for 30 years. Unacceptable. Hire more staff.

Employees did a good job(by doing a terrible job) showing to the management that it is time to bring laid-off tellers back to work. All the recent 1 star ratings show that. Now, bring the employees BACK!!! 10-15 minutes per person dealing with a client. Line ups are brutal.

This is the worst CIBC in the city. There was like 20 people in line, one teller open. I waited in line for an hour and half, 2 elderly people were allowed to jump to the front of the line ... They should have their own banking hours like grocery stores if they are allowed to cut the line. I was at the teller for literally 5 minutes. Why not schedule more staff? Why allow certain people to cut the line? Their time isn't worth more than any one else's. Started to go elsewhere, less lines, way more tellers
