Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Very horrible experience at the clarence rockland location. I called the number on the website for the clarence rockland location and made a reservation for a vehicle picking up at 8:30am on July 2nd, 2020. I arrived at the clarence rockland location at 8:30am to pick up the vehicle and when I arrived the agent was not there. The receptionist at the car dealership called the agent 10 minutes later advising someone was there to pick up a vehicle. I spoke with the same agent and he advised me that this location is not open. I asked if I called a specific location to reserve a vehicle I anticipate that's where expect to go to pick a vehicle if that's the expectation on the phone call. I did not receive an apology or any type of compensation for wasting my time and money for this inconvenience and not providing accurate expectation. I rent frequently with Enterprise and never encounter issues until today and usually if something comes up the agents exercise great customer service skills to diffuse the situation. Unfortunately this was not provided today by the clarence rockland Enterprise location. I have escalated this issue with Enterprise corporate as well.

Very unclear signage. Didn't even know the enterprise was in the dealership. No drop off box available for those that can't make it until after hours.

Good service, one negative point is the cleaning of the car.

Very helpful and convenient.

So far so good. We'll see what happens when we return the car.
