Horrible horrible wld give zero stars of app had that rating, contact, inquires, feed back return of calls, or even answering the direct branch phone number, is NON EXISTENT! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR BANK ELESWHERE, save yourself the drama

We had a company account through HSBC and their commercial side is terrible to deal with. We are no longer banking there. Their account managers turn-over quicker than McDonald's employees and their customer service is poorer. In my 5 years being employed at my current position, I have seen 4 different reps working on our account. So, if you are looking to build a relationship with your banker, don't go to HSBC. They could care less about the Oil & Gas industry in Alberta. Most people should be familiar with HSBC shunning fossil fuels, but if you aren't just google "HSBC oil sands". Also, they seem to actively be moving away from Red Deer. Every time I took a deposit in the last year or so, you could fire a cannon through their office and not hit a single person. If I were to say 1 good thing about them, their tellers are fairly friendly.

After paying a $3 atm fee for not having an account, I was refused changing a $20 for smaller bills. The bank... would not give me change. Unbelievable.

Everyone in the office knows who I am when I walk in the HSBC branch in Red Deer, I'll admit you do need an appointment. Although I do most of my banking online. As in the investment side second to none, in the banking world!

Weakest bank in Red Deer and maybe in Canada in terms of services, other banks in Red Deer have at least 3 branches while HSBC has only 1 branch that works only few hours a week. Today I went there at 3:10 PM to find them already closed at 3:00 PM, even though online it said that they are open till 4:00 PM, the weakest customer service you could imagine.
