I don’t recommend using this company. I would give zero stars if I could. I made a reservation for a car days before. I come in the morning-of at 8 am and had to wait as the staff member was late. Then he tells me even though I reserved, all the cars are booked and none available in the city? What?? My car is being repaired and I needed this car to get to work. Why couldn’t they contact me before and tell me? So unprofessional.

Rented a truck online went to pick it up only to be told they have no trucks. Huge waste of time

I had Karen contact me 10 days prior to needing my vehicle for an insurance claim. On the day I needed the vehicle, I called again to confirm my booking was in order and spoke with Karen again. To my surprise, they have no vehicles available. My car is going into the body shop and I'm without a vehicle the day its to be repaired. I'm more than a little disappointed with this oversight. An amiable solution was offered only after calling to their insurance claims line and eventually speaking with the manager from this location. Eventually I had, my reservation transferred to another location. I was to have a mid or full size sedan, I was rented a SUV. But beggars can't be choosers.

I’m Beyond furious with my FIRST time renting from discount, I’ve never had this type of service or experience from my rental company I always go with. I thought I’d give this a chance and I’m completely disappointed. After having a reservation for a car for 10:30 - since that’s the earliest time I can get it I arrive at the location only to be standing there for 20+ minutes waiting for someone to come when it opens at 10:00am. Why wouldn’t someone be there knowing someone is coming at 10:30am to pick up a vehicle? Not only that but when the lady FINALLY came back they only had a pick up a truck available when I asked for a car. I then asked if I could get one from another location they said no it’s only that vehicle so take it or leave it so after-going back and forth I ended up HAVING to take it. I had no time that day to do running around when I shouldn’t have to. I had children and strollers that needed to fit into this vehicle making it very difficult. I had to put the strollers in the trunk and not long after leaving the location it started to pour making them soaking wet. It doesn’t stop there, The lady tried charging me more for this rental from my Original price I got quoted for ( in my email ) I told her there’s no way I’m paying the difference when I asked for a car in the first place. We went outside to do the walk around , a dent was on the back drivers side at the bottom ( took a picture ) and not only that but opening up the truck it was a complete mess. Not cleaned had crackers, mud, stains all over the place it was disgusting. She then told me it said it was “clean” and that she can clean it but it’s going to take time - funny thing is she drove it to that location and parked it and then came inside to see me standing there. She didn’t see how dirty it was? which by the way, BY NOW it was close to 45+ minutes from the time I got there. This is how long it’s taken so I didn’t have time to wait any longer since i was already there longer then I anticipated. After all that she then tells me come in tomorrow and drop it off with the person at the desk so the next day comes along and I’m there at the same time 10:30am just waiting and waiting close to a half an hour goes by and I’m wondering why it’s taking so long for this “person” to come back to the desk not only to find out it was CLOSED. I was furious and mean while I have my baby with me carrying him around trying to find out where I’m suppose to leave these keys since they don’t have a drop off box. I asked the dealer shop and they confirmed there was no drop off box there. I then tried calling customer service, they where closed so I ended up calling another number and they said to keep it for over the weekend and bring it back on Monday but I will be charged those days I keep it. I then argued with the lady on the phone telling her I only wanted it for a day and I can’t return it when I was suppose to return it to THIS LOCATION and now that I can’t I have to pay for those other days until they are open again? WHAT! I then drove to another location just to find out they are closed also, I called another location (south side) and they told me to Drive it there but I would have to refill the gas 🤣wow I was beyond this point mad, I’m doing all this running around with a baby all to be told I have to pay for either keeping the car or pay for the gas so I decided to leave the keys in the drop box at that location. I would never in my right mind recommend this rental place to anyone. I still haven’t received any phone calls back or anything.
