Budget Car Rental

After some unexpected car trouble we were able to quickly book a last minute car to get us home to Campbell River. The staff was friendly and worked fast to get us on the road. Highly recommended!

Just 8n case you didn't know They have diff costs incase you need one in a hurry and need cheap then get small.😀 Also they treated us great all three time we have used them and they always made things easier then needed. Not very happy with their service The manager yes he was fine great but the fellow I dealt with when picking up my rental not so much. But my main concern is that i have returned my rental almost 10 days ago and have still not got my security deposit back yet nor any explanation why they are keeping it. This is not acceptable

Hello Wanted to share my experience with Budget in Port Alberni. First, after paying for the rental of their 5 ton truck, I asked to use the washroom. The reply, with a nasty up and down look was: "I guess, just make sure you don't have any accidents." I have actually been toilet trained for over 40 years! I also got charged an extra 19 litres of fuel at over 2$ a litre, (price is at 1.05$/l). The tank has instructions to not fill tank to over 90%. Therefore I filled the tank till the pump stopped. This means full. Looked inside, 90%. I run machinery for a living and have filled many a tank. Against instructions on tank, Budget apparently squeezed in 19 more litres, which would mean they fiiled it right to top. This is obviously a trap. Good luck!
