The guys are nice and they provide a good overall service for the price, the problem is: they do not listen. I like to maintain the bike myself but I went for the service to solve a specific problem that I was not able to fix. I mentioned it via phone and also when I sent the SMS with my email: the rear derailleur was not working properly. They did the so called "Full Service" that includes different checks and fixes but nothing in much depth. Result: - They increase the tension of the brake cables. I do not like this setup since I prefer to have the brake levers loose, so the brakes start working when the levers are closer to my hands. So I had to undo this change by resetting the cable tensions as they were before. - The rear derailleur is working better but still not working properly. When I am in the last gear, I have to push the gear lever twice to make it move one position. So I will have to bring the bike for servicing again to fix the rear derailleur. If there is a specific problem that specific problem should be fixed well rather than doing some overall checks and fixes.

I bought this old bike in Budapest and rode it for around 2 years without putting any work into it. When I moved to Prague, I decided to put some money into it to upgrade it. Most bike shops in Prague only deal with higher end/newer bikes, and they did not want to work on mine. Pavel did an amazing job of asking what I wanted for my bike, and what my budget was. Pavel did an amazing job of trying to get me everything I wanted for the bike at the budget I set for it. He even helped me get some parts that are hard to find due to the age of the bike. He was very transparent once he took the bike apart about any other work that needed to be done. Overall, I am really happy with how the bike turned out, and I would highly recommend Richmond Cycles, especially to people who do have older bikes. I had a uniquely annoying problem and the guys at Richmond took care of things. Pavel knows his stuff and I'll definitely be bringing my bikes to get serviced here in the future.

I had a great experience with Pavel at Richmond Cycle, Prague. He is very friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to spend time Setting up a high-quality bike for a good fit for you. He even spent time showing me different routes that he uses on Strava. I rented a carbon fiber track cycle for 24 hours, very reasonable, and he included lock, helmet, lights, and time to make sure the bike was properly tuned before I set out the door. If you want to rent a high-quality bike, and considerate to her also, this is definitely a great place to go in Prague! Highly highly recommend
