Fontaine de la place des Puits-clos

Located on the Place des Puits-Clos, the fountain of Well-closed is leaning against a wall dressed with bricks and a pediment. Four Corinthian columns of pink marble from the old altarpiece of the church of Dalbade are placed diagonally, giving rise to three wells dressed in copper. Since 1984, Pierre-Bernard Prouha's Psyche, until now stored in the Musée des Augustins, adorns the center of this ensemble thanks to the order of Bernard Calley. The water from the fountain flows into the wells by chantepleures embedded in the wall. Electricity and lighting were refurbished in 1998.
