Château Gaillard

The guided visit is just one extra euro and lasts about 45 minutes. Definitely recommend it! Otherwise it's just a bunch of rocks.

Great views on the Seine and the Castle. Nice if you're around, but not sure if still that good if you need to drive >1h to get there.

The best view to see this ruin castle is from the parking across the castle. You can see the castle and also the little village and the small lake beside the village. Take a good walking shoes. To reach the top of the castle is not far 10 to 15 min walking. There's also a normal road in case you go with baby stroller. I didn't visit the inside castle. Just walking around the ruin.
