The Grand Trianon

Really enjoyed- well restored and beautifully decorated. At times even more than the main palace. Would be even nicer in the summer when all the gardens are in bloom.

It's well preserved, and beautiful. However, it's considerably far from the Palace of Versalhes. Given the price of the ticket, a bus/shuttle should be available once a while to transport people.

One renown page of french history one must have visited. Beautiful work, I admire especially our ancestors' skills as craftmen.

I honestly liked it better than the main château and its gardens. The Trianon is less pompous and more diverse, colorful. The use of pink marble adds to a beautiful aesthetic that appeals to me more than gold-coat-everything approach.
