Château La Canorgue

I think they had an off day. We didn't feel very welcome. Quick quick, no explanation, which wine do you want to taste next..... but, they have good wines.

Wines are ok however nothing really special for that price. The biggest problem of this place is a very unpleasant service.

Fantastic. Great, biodynamic wines of the region. Deep & complex reds. Beautiful location and exceptionally welcoming tasting, hosted by Nathalie - merci! A great family run vineyard.

Friendly, helpful staff. All their wine is delicious. If you are staying in the area, stock up! Their blue bottles (500ml) are good value. I gave it 4 stars b/c their website was confusing re: hours of operation in May (on English site). Too bad there are no special visits or tours.

An excellent winery with very affordable wines. The tasting room and shop are well-run and very, very friendly. There is a small garden and set of vines outside the tasting room that you can walk through, and you can see the chateau above a nice fountain sitting slightly above the garden. Since the family lives there, you can't go up to where the movie was filmed (which is completely understandable), but you can view it just fine from below. We stocked up on lovely roses and other wines for our stay in a local house.
