The village of Noyers-sur-Serein is a charming village, located in a meander of Serein. It is a medieval village surrounded by ramparts ranked among the "most beautiful villages in France". It is a timeless village with beautiful half-timbered houses of Burgundian architecture, either modest half-timbered houses or beautiful Renaissances stone carved homes. The whole is very harmonious and provides a very typical atmosphere. In the main streets, there are various shops, bars and restaurants, craftsmen and art galleries, monuments including the beautiful church Notre-Dame, in short, what to walk and spend his time. Noyers is a tourist village, but even in July when we went there, the village was not flooded with tourists. We had a very enjoyable walk, afternoon walk, accomodation in a very nice B & B and dinner in a very nice restaurant. There is a way to stay longer to visit the area, but we were just there. It made us want to come back. A village to discover.
