Steven Eagell Toyota (Watford)

We were really impressed by the level of service and the efficiency at which they were working under Covid-19 safety conditions. We went there with a good idea of what we were looking for and we managed to find a 2nd hand Yaris Hybrid which ticked all the boxes. We were served by Haseeb Darr who made us feel very welcome and at ease. He was thorough, helpful and really good fun, creating a level of trust early on. He made the whole process of buying our first car quick and easy. Would highly recommend.

Booked a test drive and I was told to put in a deposit of £250 in order to secure the car as it might be sold before I visit the branch, I refused at first but I was told that the deposit can be used as a car deposit if I decided to buy it otherwise it will be fully refunded hence I’ve provided my card details to book the car. I’ve arrived the branch five minutes late than the appointment time but was told to be seated and the salesman would come to me ASAP. Half an hour later the salesman approach to me and said because I was late hence he is already serving another walk-in customer and I’ll need to wait because I’m late (yes he repeated quite a few times). I wonder what’s the point of me booking in for a test drive and provide my card details where they can’t even secure half an hour slot for me even though I’m only late for five mins. Almost one and a half hour later waiting in the showroom I was told that the car I’ve booked in was already sold? That was a shock to me as they can’t seems to tell which car was sold and just insist to take your card details over the phone to book for a car which is obviously not available anymore. Despite that I was offered a test drive later for a higher end car with better specs (which is obviously better to drive but also a lot higher than my budget) even though I have already mentioned this is nearly 10k above my budget. However, they can’t offer me to view another car which is similar to the one I’ve booked, which is a shame. The branch seems to be really under staffed as I can see other customers waiting in the reception area not being served (who were also waiting for half an hour). Would not recommend to visit this Toyota branch.

Best customer service. I my local Toyota dealers asked for an am and a leg yet my car was still under warranty. The team here is the best. Would gladly travel from west London for this kind of service

Enquired on a car in the Watford branch, Got a introduction email which I replied to promptly as I had already test driven elsewhere. Following that no response at all. Shame it was a nice looking car and the website was easy to follow to put a deal together. But ended up purchasing another car elsewhere due to lack of response, Obviously didn't need my business as 10 days passed with no contact at all.

Very thorough workshop, Ryan was excellent. The offer of a coffee would have made the understandable wait more enjoyable!
