Volvo Cars Watford

Well, all good at first. Sydney was an absolute gent, listened, accepted and a deal was done. On collection, two dents as discussed were not sorted out, leaving me with a dilemma, travel over an hour, to leave the car with them while they are sorted and travel back, or pay for them on the "promise" that I would be reimbursed. Having emailed the sales manager (Geoff) and Sydney recently with a quote, I got an auto reply stating that Sydney's email was undeliverable. No reply from Geoff. To date (2weeks ago) I have not had a reply. I also had to chase both of them to get a refundable deposit back for my logbook from my part exchange. I expect more from a main dealer, I also expected two dents to be sorted out (within the 2 WEEKS) from doing the deal and collecting. Countless emails had been sent, I feel like giving up but I feel as though the matter should be taken further. Should anyone decide to read this, please feel free to put me in contact with the dealer principal. On the other hand, the car is spot on. Just let down by the men in suits.

Be aware what you are paying for, there is no honesty at all. Few weeks ago I took my v40 for service at Volvo watford after "free health check" (bear in mind service cost £450)there is nothing for free - I found out that my cbelt need be change (was changed at 88k by Volvo they quoted me £677 for something which don't need be done for at least another 50k miles, engine check light I was quoted £775 technician didn't bother to check if there is really problem - local garage charged me £80 to fix the problem. The undertray fixings apparently was so damaged they couldn't do anything they quoted me £387 when I said I will not pay for that and I will come to collect the car suddenly they managed to change the oil and filter idon't know how - they said they will be unable if I will not agree to pay the cost, fueal system manifold - they told me this is good will repair to sounds better but this was simply RECALL. I contacted Mr Bradley who is the Head of sales I asked him to provide me with email address to the Head office, every time he respond to my email avoiding to share the details... End of the day they all are fellas and they will protect each other , avoid Volvo endeavour, they care only about the profit, they will use pushing tactics to take as much your money as possible and if you are person who don't have clue about the cars and servicing they will take advantage. End of the day i was charged for the service which probably didn't happen because how you can change the oil if you can't remove undertray. Quick update : I took my car to independent garage and as I suspected - the engine oil and filter wasn't change at all, I got volvo recovery for £450, thief's and liars!!!

Great service and a great car! Jeff Durrant as fantastic and went over and above to make sure we were happy, driving to our house circa 1 hour away to show us how to fix our new bike rack. Would highly recommend.
