We hired a camper van in September 2020 and had a fantastic experience. The booking system was easy and the price very competitive. Communication was good. When we arrived John was very helpful. The VW was very well equipped and we were shown everything thoroughly before we left. The van was faultless and we will definitely hire again.

Recently brought a car from Moorlake, service was brilliant. They have a great team and are very honest genuine people. I was kept informed every step of the way and was really looked after. Ed and John that sold me the car were brilliant. Rosie who also works there is very knowledgeable, welcoming, Friendly and Witty. Since my first purchase, as they were soo great I was back a few weeks later and just got another car. Service was as I experienced the first time, just great people. Will definitely be a returning customer AGAIN in future. Thanks 🙏🏼

So these guys wanted me to test drive a car I had never driven before with a non refundable £250 deposit if I didn’t buy the car! Without a contract in place this is unethical and possibly illegal. Rosie is great to deal with otherwise avoid. I’m updating this review based on the garage’s response below. I turned up with my family on the hottest day of the year so was not messing anyone around. You suggested I leave my car keys with you while I went for a test drive. That would have meant my heavily pregnant wife and small children sitting in a billowing hot car while I went off. I explained this to you and suggested I ring back in an hour with the potential deposit. At that point you agreed but in no way suggested my deposit would not be refundable and I was shown the other forms for the other interested party so knew someone else was interested in the car. They are the facts. Having spoken to other people in the industry it feels like you were trying to get the best of both worlds. My deposit and then sell the car to someone else.

Such a good experience both times we was there, always working hard, especially Pete always out valeting cars and making them look amazing. Ed and John were always to Hand for any questions. The ultimate service came from Rosie who went through all the paper work offered us tea and coffees, talked through every detail, just exceptional. She is a class act and will go far. Thanks guys 👍
