The path leading down to the platform needs gritting as my wife fell over on the ice. Although the staff weren't directly to blame this shouldn't have happened. Hopefully this won't hapen again.
This railway station is part of the electric Ormskirk to Liverpool line. It has a kiosk for people to buy tickets. No toilets that I'm aware of. Ramps lead down to the platform making it wheelchair accessible.
Hi! Aughton Park is on the Ormskirk-Liverpool Central Line on the Northern Line Of Merseyrails Network. It’s basically unstaffed. There is no ticket hall or a ticket thing like Kirkdale station is. I love the station and I love the classic sign at Street level. It may look grim, but it’s somewhat nice
