Citywide Van Sales

The van is ok but Simon has not delivered to any of his promises. It's a long way to Cardiff to go get a van but this is my choice. I went there twice and the van I had picked was ok. There were issues with the rolling door that even after so many promises (this word will be repeated a few times in this review) it didn't get fixed properly. The van had accumulated 130 000 miles and when I asked if the cambelt had been changed Simon managed, somehow, to make me pay for its replacement. My mistake, as he sells the vans with one and a half year warranty, so if the engine went it would've been repaired free of charge, right? But does anyone want to go through this and find out if that warranty, for a 4 year old van, is good at all? So I paid for the cambelt and the shutter did not get fixed. Next, the van had only 1 key. I asked for the second one. Simon said Sure, I'll check with the previous owner and if he hasn't got it I'll get you one with the warranty. Just wait for a couple of weeks he said. Well, I bought the van more than a month before the first Covid lock down (I'm sure he'll use it as an excuse for not delivering on his promises), in February. I waited a couple weeks and started making calls. This is where the technical sales term DRAGGIN came in. In short, it's December and no second key. Numerous calls and as many promises, my dream of getting the promised second key is dead. Apparently, the guy who does the keys for him f**ked him about (his words) and Simon told me to go and get a key locally and he'll pay for it. Yea, right. Would you believe a guy who promised so many times, by saying, Let me check that for you and I'll call you back and never actually call back. So, no second key. Another thing. When I went to pick up the van and started driving it back I got to the Price of Wales Bridge and a warning light came on and the van went into limp mode. I called Simon and told him what happened. His response was Call the warranty company. So do it yourself is what I got. Of course that company was not very helpful and I had to call Simon again at which point he actually did what he was supposed to. I could go and write more but I didn't really want to write at all. But if I could give a heads up to the people after me, I would feel better. One last thing wait for the excuses below. Go on Simon...

Bought a van from here not even owned for 9 months and its had loads of massive issues bought it with a warranty but that wasn't worth the paper its written on. Been trying to get it back in to get the head gasket sorted but being constantly delayed by the sales team.ended up having to part ex the van to get a more reliable van and lost so much of the value of the van and the cost of repairs that have been done that should have been covered by the warranty but had to pay it all off my own back .not at all happy with the van.so if you are thinking of buying a van from here dont .

Bought a Renault Trafic from here in October 2019 for work great van no issues fantastic customer service will definitely recommend to anyone.

Bought a Vivaro about three months ago. After two months of usage the van developed a fault witch was sorted after couple of days. They got their own garage where they provide the necessary repairs. Very happy with the service.
