The best experience that I had with an auto dealer!

Purchased a Jaguar XJ recently and have had no problems at all. Tim gave me a decent trade-in on my old car . The team did a great job in preparing the vehicle, so I'd have no hesitation in buying from Tim and the team in the future.

Set out on the hunt for a very specific car and Tim Hayward car sales was one of 5 or 6 possibilities I had lined up. After already seeing about 4 cars which didn't live up to expectations, passing on 1 because it was just priced too high, I phoned up this place to see if they still had it. Answered straight away, were easy to deal with on the phone and so I made the trek from Portsmouth to Cardiff to see it the following weekend. The car was exactly as advertised and in far better condition than the previous, higher mileage and price others that'd I'd seen. It was very reasonably priced. Not expensive but no so cheap to make you think there's something wrong! So glad I passed on that expensive one as this was better condition and cheaper! They gave me plenty of time to have a good look around the car by myself and didn't put me under pressure or give me some cheesy sales pitch. I took the plunge and put a deposit down the car and paid up and collected it the next week. I also carried out an HPI check for peace of mind which they co-operated with easily. It all went super smoothly overall. I've now owned that car for around 9 months and it's been great. There's been no lurking issues as you'd hope so I've not had to exercise their guarantee or talk to them since so I can't review that aspect. So thanks, guys; you were the best to deal with out of all the other dealers I'd visited and offered the best car at a great price. I can highly recommend Tim Hayward car sales and do not regret the 150 miles I travelled each way over 2 weekends at all.

I live in uk over 15 years. I had many diffrient cars over that time. Been dealing with different dealers as well. Always used to go on autotrader or ebay and search for the car I was looking for. My last search was Ford Smax sport and I found two I really like. One in Norwich where I live and one in Cardiff....where Tim Hayward car sales is based. Both cars same price same mileage... went on Sunday to Norwich to see the smax. Garage was closed but you can walk in as there is no gate or fence....scratches, hole in the grill, kerbed wheels etc...one door in slightly diffirent black shade!!( prior to my visit I send enquairy to this garage website, how much they will give me as a part ex for my audi...they come back with £4700) Then on Monday I phone up Tim Hayward....he gave me part ex price £5750!!!! £1000 more than garage in Norwich. I asked him about the condition of the car. He walked with the phone around the car and explain everything. We agreed on the price and details. We went there on saturday (Norwich to Cardiff trip)to drop my audi off and pick smax. I have to say "EVERYTHING" as described, really smooth transaction. Tim and Tristan really nice people to deal with...best dealer Ive ever dealed with. Like I said earlier I always use to look on autotrader for the car I want....from now on I will ask TimHayward to find me the car I want!!! PS Week after we bought the Smax we went to Europe for holiday...Uk, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Poland ....and back.. we done over 6000 miles since we bought it ,around 4 weeks ago and I love it.
