Wanted to share the great experience we had with Specialist Cars in Cardiff when purchasing a vehicle (including a part exchange). Aaron was super flexible and easy to work with. He was more than happy to accommodate requests towards the end of the working day. We had an engine management warning light and the car came in for investigation and it was resolved. The light came on again and without any concerns, Aaron took the car back in and the sensor was replaced. No issues since the sensor was replaced. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Aaron for your help, professional approach and wish you a Happy New Year.

I can’t thank Aaron and Phil enough for the hard work they done sourcing me the car I’ve wanted for so long. I didn’t think they’d be able to find the spec I wanted as I was very ambitious in the car I was looking for though they didn’t disappoint. Kirsty the receptionist gave fantastic customer service throughout. I highly recommend specialist cars to anyone who is in the market for a new vehicle, they have great stock and will find you the car you’re looking for. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! I put a deposit down without seeing this vehicle on the 22/11/2020 in complete trust with the dealer. Three times they promised the car would be ready and it wasn't. The final time I took a day off work and bought a train ticket to which I found off less than 24 hours before it was not even ready. They eventually said they would deliver the vehicle for my troubles to which I agreed. Within driving the car less than 10 mins, the engine management light came on, the car then refused to start on the school run, then a terrible whine from the engine, then low oil warning light, then the car went into complete limp mode. This is a car they insured me had been through a service and MOT. I then got in contact with Citizens advise who informed me I was entitled to a full refund within 30 days to which they refused. I have given them the opportunity to repair the vehicle, they do not reply to emails and I now need to issue court proceedings. An Audi specialist has further advised me the engine oil was low, the coolant was low and the power steering fluid was low among other faults including engine module.

I left a review here in 2018 when purchasing a vehicle from Specialist Cars, the review was deleted when I had deleted a previous account so I'll return the favour. The team at Specialist Cars couldn't be more helpful (perhaps they could and went above and beyond for me a few years ago) when enquiring and going through the motions of purchasing the vehicle even when presented with unusual, challenging circumstances, they were met with solutions and drove home with the vehicle on the same day. The Specialist Cars team were the best. I'll definitely consider going back for the right vehicle or an upgrade to the current one, the vehicle is still performing miracles.
