I would never buy a car from Arnold Clark Peugeot Ayer. Terrible service! Purchased an Audi Q3 2015 S Line, I’m based in the UK, so made the initial enquiry, requested a presentation video. Told them to show me if there was anything wrong, nothing seemed so. Was told my vehicle had Audi service history by the Manager Archie Baillie. My sales person, Stuart Templeton took a deposit of £95 as vehicle needed to come down from Scotland to Milton Keynes. Fine, I paid for it. Took 10 days+ to arrive, I waited. Called the branch: to arrange viewing of it. I was shocked. The car was terrible, the engine bay was filthy, rear tyres were crackling away had a nail in it, interior trims missing, fuel missing, fuel cap missing! large chip on the windscreen, flip out key blade not working on of the keys! They said it went missing on delivery, chip was caused on transport. A simple MOT history check shows the chip on windscreen from the previous MOT! Liaised with MK Click & Collect & Arnold Clark Peugeot Ayer staying at the branch for 4-5 Hours. Told them I would book the vehicle into Audi for a free health check as I wasn’t satisfied after all those issues. Audi came back saying there was an outstanding pollen filter service remaining which I had done at my expense a week into owning. They did reimburse me for the tyres and windscreen after months of chasing. They said they’d cover all the missing trims, till this day that hasn’t been the case at all! Been chasing them non stop, they’ve been shut over 3 months for COVID too. They’ve now stopped all communications with me!!🤬 This vehicle has NO service history! Spent £15K on it, still has NO plastic interior trims provided! NO reimbursement for the outstanding service paid! I have only done 1400 miles, from ownership and the vehicle has now broken down. Doesn’t start, diagnosed with a Fuel Pressure pump which has gone on it, and is currently in a garage. 2 months warranty they provided was useless as it expired during lockdown. After sales are beyond terrible from them!! I have now proceeded legal action with them! SO PLEASE STAY CLEAR! No matter how much of a deal you think you are getting. IT SHOULDNT BE A BATTLE YOUR FIGHTING BUYING A CAR FROM A DEALER OF THIS TYPE!! So Arnold Clark, if you would like to address the issues please feel free to Private Message me as I’ve given you guys ample amount of time an opportunities to do so.
