I gone in to ask about the new defender. On coming through the door there was a man and a lady looking me up and down as if they where disgusted with the way I was dressed, at this point I felt I'm not going to be taken seriously. I gone over to look at the car and heard one guy say that I'm here to take the piss don't waste time, after I had my look round the car I asked about the the pre all new defender and the salesman just quickly glanced at his computer for all of two seconds as if is helping me out and said nope don't have any. So I didn't confront anyone as to not make it more uncomfortable but I'll take my business somewhere better and less judgemental and where I can part exchange my Audi A4 sline, back to Audi I think as the service was better before sales and after sales.

How to treat customers badly! 2015 Range Rover Sport bought June/July 2019 from this dealer. Car broke down September 2020. £2500 was paid out to "fix" the car. Got car back 8 days later in time to go away for the weekend. It was obvious during the weekend that the car wasnt fixed. Exhaust gases escaping straight into the cab therefore my wife and I were breathing in poisonous fumes which resulted in my wife having streaming eyes and me feeling nauseous. Car returned to dealer by brakedown truck when returned after the weekend. 4 days later the "problem" was identified and I was told the part was under warranty. 3 days after that I was told the part was not now under warranty. On asking how much to fix the problem which was meant to be fixed I was told £4300!! Such was my disgust at looking at the total bill now of nearly £7000 I put the car in the hands of the finance company who have finally got round to addressing my case (first week December). AT NO TIME during the last 2 and a half months has the dealership contacted me to see if they can resolve the situation. Appalling customer service.

UPDATE!!!. yes they left a responce to my review, asking me to email them with my prefered contact details, so they could contact me...... I was left a voicemail message asking me to call Steve Macmillan sales Manager so we could discuss my experience and see if they could do anything to resolve it,,,, i have called 4 different times now in the space of a week, to be told each time that he is not at his desk and we will get him to call you back as soon as possible.... Needless to say the service and aftersales is living up to my first experience as i have still not once recieved a call back!!! Shocking customer service ........................................................................... Initial service i recieved was great but after they get you to purchase and have your money they dont want to know and you are on your own. On purchasing the car i noticed scratches that i was assured would be fixed, and everything would be sorted, i went to collect the car a week later only to discover that a deep scratch still remained , i pointed this out and also noticed drivers side front tyre was bald on the outside part of the tyre, again i was assured this would be sorted and that the car would be booked in the following week. After taking 3 days annual leave for appointments that were not kept or canceled, nearly 4 weeks later the car went in to get repaired. On collection of the car, the scratch was repaired but the tyre was not!!! Paint splashes on the inside of the car. Fast forward a couple of WEEKS, and the car info panel is indicating that a service is required!!! Should this not be done prior to sale !!!. I took it to my local Halfords mechanic for a service, only to be recomended that i make a complaint with regards that a car should never have been sold to us with 3 yes 3 barley legal tyres and the service indicator light coming on only weeks after purchasing ... Aftersales service is shocking .....take your money and dont want to know after that. Not happy !!! Parks land rover Ayr

Absolutely disgusted at service. After taking car for test drive and having my own car driven by Ian for a trade in valuation. After being in Park's for a total of four hours the car was sold from under us, while we were in price negotiations in Ian Robertson's office.When challenged on their customer service the manager who I request to complain to was unable to state the company's values , became defensive. Clearly honesty and having an open channel of communication is not important to the staff and the company of Parks land rover Ayr.
