Had a Service and Mot today all went very well. Good coms from service department

Went to look at a van. It had an issue that needed looking at but they would only advise that they would have a look once a deposit was paid. To me that's the wrong way round

We went to the repair center and a certain man named Paul attended us. The van had a issue with the oil level within the warranty and at the same time we had to pass the mot to it. The main problem was that the oil was mixed and the level jump it a lot, Paul told me that it was common since they had a private newsletter from the company that said it, at the same time they told me to bring the van that passed the mot.Then they didn't even pass the mot or see the problem for 3 days, the van tun and is nothing to be to pass the mot . they made me lose money and time, I went to another center and they did the (MOT) the same day. And to answer the problem, I have to take van back to that Repair without wanting Very unpolite , unprofessional , that receptionist called Paul , the ,most sneaky guy ever I seems . please share share share , this comment and be aware of his behaviour , people wants to work and have a decent Job and this gentleman the most unprofessional I saw in my entired life,

I cannot recommend SMG and all the team highly enough. Mike and Nathan found me a lovely low mileage used 5.1 within my budget last December and I was able to travel up from Devon to collect. ( I chose to shop away from the over priced and unhelpful local dealerships down here deliberately) what an excellent choice. The whole buying process was flawless. Since then we have all been through the chaos and interruption of Covid lockdowns etc. During which I found a couple of issues that needed attention. So ten months later I was able to book my van in, and Mike was able to assure me everything would be taken care of, and was able to fix issue FOC. While there I had my yearly inspection and MOT done. Paul in service helped me with this and even this process ( which includes a filmed walk around and online checklist allowing you to choose what you want or need to be done) again an excellent service, perfectly executed. During all contacts with staff and the team at SMG I was treated exceptionally well ( especially a mention to Tamara, who remembered me even after the several months away and made sure I found the right people when needed), everyone has been so helpful and courteous it’s made the whole process a pleasure. Choose SMG for your next van or to look after the one you have. Absolutely Brilliant all around. And thank you all again for finding me the van I’ve wanted for years.

Got recommended by a friend to come to Southern Motor group Croydon, I was looking for a VW Kombi, have been speaking to Peter who is very helpful and patient with all my questions, anyway I brought a Kombi from him really happy with the service, and after service from Peter and his team
