Robins & Day Vauxhall Croydon

Having previously bought Vauxhall new cars from the Croydon branch before the dealership became Robins and Day. I liked the look of the Grandland X but I’m always apprehensive when there’s a change in a franchise and personnel. However I spoke with Ray in the sales team. He was helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Answered all my queries about the model and made the whole process very reassuring to the point I would recommend Robins and Day to anyone thinking of giving them a go. Very happy! Thanks.

I just bought my car from here last week and have to say that I am very pleased with the service. Ray Thomas was extremely helpful and, despite the Bank Holidays, made sure that we had the keys in our hands as quickly as possible. Thank you so much Ray and I will surely be recommending you!

Booked in for MOT and Service. Good points were they collected and returned vehicle to me promptly. However I was quoted one price by the booking agent and R&D tried to charge me a dearer price. I informed them I was a Vauxhall Service Club member and the price I was quoted and they did honour it. However after peforming a health check on vehicle which has done 16845 miles I might add, they tried to charge me extortionate amounts for a brake fluid change at £81 and £179 to replace an expansion tank bottle with a small crack at top, told me not part of my Lifetime warranty. Had an independent qualified mechanic check my vehicle today and said these were advisory and not necessary. The brake fluid was of a good colour and topped up to correct amount and the crack in expansion tank bottle was not serious and in fact at the top and very minor and an unnecessary recommendation. The mechanic also informed me that a brake fluid change should be included as part of a service. However for every year my car has been serviced the brake fluid has been ticked as done in my service book. Am not happy and if not for my lifetime warranty I would not use this dealer. And I never got confirmation my lifetime warranty had been activated on their receipt when car was returned to me. I had to ring them for confirmation and some excuse about not being able to print it out was given. Disappointed.

Ray sold me a used Vauxhall last week and can’t fault his service. From the test drive to the paperwork and handing over the car, he made sure I knew everything I needed to and even managed to find proof of work that had been done to the car by the last owner. Would definitely recommend!

I can’t stress how satisfied and pleased we are with our new car. From start to finish Paul has helped us tremendously. Our family and friends have been coming there for over a decade as to the service and loyalty that we receive from Paul Mizzi; many thanks again.
