A really great experience. George in the dealership was really helpful informative and attentive. The showroom is clean and there’s no hard sale or loads of haggling. Gave a good price and was very patient whilst we sorted everything out. Have already recommended them to relatives!
One would expect after paying a deposit towards a car, it would be straight forward transaction. Told me & wife car will be ready within 3-4 days for service and pay remaining balance on collection. Only to phone on the fourth day and got told car failed safety check. Buying a car from a prominent dealership as Advantage Cars we expect much better, but absolute waste of our time. Would never again step through their Hatfield branch.
I was given a print out when picking the car up to say my car had passed the M.O.T. Only now I realise this was not the official testing centre certificate. Today I downloaded an App for my phone and find out the car has an advisory on the M.O.T - oil leak but not excessive. I would have certainly asked for this to be sorted before handing over 10k. I have now got to get this fixed, also the electric seat has partly stopped working, time to see if the warranty is worth the paper it's written on. I feel cheated that the M.O.T advisory was not high lighted.
Recently bought Sons first car from Advantage. Good selection competitively priced compared to similar models we looked at. Salesman Matt very helpful throughout.
