I was sold a car (VW Golf) in March 2018. When I came to replace it, it turned out that the car odometer had been tempered with prior to my purchase. When I bought the car it had 16k on the clock. However, it turned out that it was on some kind of red flag data base as it had a MoT with 22k on the clock on an MoT done 18 months prior to my purchase. This was also confirmed by the service done by Alan Day themselves. Even that did not bother me as I thought it may not be their fault. However, when I tried to call them they did not want to know. I called several times and got passed around and eventually they told me it was VW’s problem. So I called VW who then rightly said that they were not the ones that sold the car or service it or MOT’d. All of that was done by Alan Day. They then called Alan Day themselves and finally got Alan day to take notice. Alan Day then promised them that they will solve this. It’s now been months and I have had to sell by car GBP 1000 below market value because of this. Shame on you Alan Day.

I always find car dealerships a little like getting into a cage that will be plunged into the ocean with great white sharks circulating waiting for food! I can tell you now Alan Day City is certainly not like this! I rocked up late on a Tuesday evening about 15min before close and Emmanuel was so patient and understanding of the situation I ended up leaving an hour after close. Himself and Ashley were absolutely brilliant! The level of communication throughout the purchase until the car was picked up was brilliant. Emmanuel was assertive and empathetic to the whole situation which was great! I have and will continue to recommend him to my friends and family for certain. Thank you so much Emmanuel and Ashley!! Exceptional service from start to finish!

Great experience with Alan Day! Lenin ordered our volkswagen polo, and we couldn't be happier. Got the car very fast. Lenin was easy to get in contact with and answered any queries we had. He kept us well informed with the process. Overall communication was fantastic! Emmanuel dealt with us when collecting our car. He showed us around the car, answered any questions and made it an easy process. All the staff we dealt with were so lovely, friendly and helpful!

Don't trust them!! The gentleman who seal me the car his name is Ollie forced me to buy car with a big problem .I took it to the garage it cost me £1100 to fix the problem. When I try to talk to him about he ignored and blocked me.be careful dont go to him hi is a lier
