Need directional arrows on site numbers and roads to confirm which sites are which, many campers driving around trying to figure out where they're sites were. Very unlevel sites but we made it work. Friends electric wasn't working well. Not much going on their due to covid I assume, but there was a lot of areas in need of upkeep. Love KOA's but this one not up to par. Did like the rustic woody feel but not paying KOA prices for what we got. Definitely needed a get away so this worked but probably not returning.

Sites are very uneven mixed in with sand (each site differs) most sites are on a large hill. The sites need to be extremely leveled. We were put on a site that should of never had a large travel trailer on it, almost couldn't get out. We asked to move because our camper didn't fit well, the girls were nice and were able to accommodate. Power, sewage, water seem to require longer adapter to reach. Not spaced very well within the site for easy access. Recommend watchdog power protector or similar device. We've been twice, unfortunately will not return, don't want to put up with the hassle fighting the sites. The playground is in need of TLC and other areas need TLC also. It was like this last year too. I can't fault them for things shut down due to covid, but very under staffed, 2 people at office and that's it. A lot didn't follow the rules (campers) and no one around to enforce them. Campground close to Higgins lake North State Park (5 minutes). 20 minutes to south Higgins lake state park

Horrible management! The power to just our site (1 site) went out because of line under voltage. Luckily the watchdog protected our camper. Front desk called the manager of KOA and he already left and said there is nothing they can do. "Wait till after 8pm. It's the power companies fault." They are also the most expensive KOA and the sites are not level and trashy. Don't go to the playground it's filthy! Looks like we will be sleeping tonight with no power at all and paid almost $80 for an unlevel site.

Was the only place in area that had a spot available so we snagged it. We loved it. It was a little more expensive than other campgrounds but we had a blast and it was clean and cozy. Will be returning.

This KOA has to be the worst one in existence. It is in complete disarray and perhaps the most poorly operated one we have ever been to. They told us to check in at 1000 sharp and they never showed up until after 1130. ALL of the sites are sand and most are washed out and VERY uneven. Dumpster upfront was overflowing and bags were piled along side of it about 5 feet tall. The staff was extremely unhelpful and were not available most of the days. Cable did not work on either site we were on and all they could say was, “it should be fine but let us know if you need anything”. That’s unhelpful at best, especially when they aren’t there when you go in to the locked office with the “we’ll be right back” sign for help, which is prominently displayed most of the day. WIFI also was not working and timed out on the simplest of tasks. Not a fan and as KOA members, we won’t be coming back here. KOA, you need to do something about this one as it gives you a bad reputation.
