I visited the above stated dealer with a mindset to test drive the new creta as I'm planning to buy a mid size SUV but in response got a straight answer from dealer that they don't provide test drives for any of the vehicles. Shockingly they even asked if you need a test drive you can book a vehicle variant first(in my case Creta S 1.5 Diesel) so that they can bring it from stockyard and give me the test drive. Upon insisting they said the best they can do is call a customer(who owns Creta 2020) to ask for a test drive. He declined to give a test drive as any normal person would do in this situation. Now, the question remains unanswered why aren't there any demo vehicles?nnThere's a huge gap between Hyundai's proven customer service and the way this dealer is operating. It feels like they are taking advantage of being in a small city and considering the customer will buy by hook or crook because the poor person doesn't have a choice to go to another dealership.nnI just want to question here- Is it the experience I want when I don't get a chance to try out the product I'm purchasing with my hard earned money? Never assumed this to be a Hyundai car buying experience. This is really an eye opener because I can assume what could be an post sales or service experience with the same dealer.nnAgain, if the company is unable to provide a demo test drive vehicle at dealerships(an statement from the dealer). Are you really expecting customer to purchase without having a hands on experience?nnI totally get it there's a huge crunch in the market around the product(Creta 2020) but does this mean there won't be demo vehicles anymore.nnHappy to move to the makers like KIA and MG who are doing a better job in handling the customer.
