Regional science research centre set up in jhajra, on the bank of the river Tons, is one of the non-formal educational institutions.. Where, people especially students can learn, enjoy, experience and do science in the hands on manner. It's the first science research centre and is an added attraction for the tourists and people of the region. The Research centre opens at 10:00am and closes at 5:00pm. The tickets are not sold after 3:30pm. On Mondays the place is closed. The cost of tickets is different according to the shows you select. I have kept a detailed photograph of ticket cost below. The regional research centre is divided into different sections:- 1) Himalayas 2) Frontiers of technology 3) Fun science 4) Innovation Hub 5) 3D science show 6) Taramandal 7) Science park 8) Dino Park 9) Activities 10) Bio Diversity Park 1) HIMALAYAS:- All the aspects of Himalayas are portrayed in the the gallery. Different interactive exhibits, digital medium, stunning images,which reveals untold stories of Himalayas 2) Frontiers of technology:- It gives a glimpse on how technology has changed/affected us in few last years. 3)Fun science:- It consists of hands on and minds on interactive exhibits on various subjects like fluidics, sounds,optics, rolling balls, illusions, etc. 4) 3D Science show:- 3D film is a motion picture that enhances the illusion depth perception and is produced from stereoscopic photography.. 5) Taramandal:- An attractive inflatable planetarium with capacity to 40-45 visitors at a time, provides an opportunity to observe the night sky sitting inside the dome. 6) Science park:- The science park, which is well developed garden consisting of about 30 outdoor full interactive, fun-filled exhibits that cover various scientific principles like vibrations, mathematics, perception, defying gravity, music, sound etc. 7)Dino Park:- This park represents prehistoric era in which 10 dinosaur's of different era are presented in their natural setting. These dinosaur are supported with information regarding their size, weight, their body constitution along with food habits and their life spans. Please visit once. I recommend this place..

A lovely place maintained by the government which even organizes amazing camps for the youth to impart classic knowledge about robotics and electronics. There are many machines from which you can many principles of physics and learn how they are being applied in our real life
