The French Loaf (Minto Park)

I bought a loaf of bread, a chicken puff and a blueberry cheesecake today.nAlthough the bread was okayish, the puff was just bland and felt old. To my utter horror, the cheesecake was so hard, it felt like eating a cookie. It clearly tells that this place is severely under-maintained. I have been a loyal customer of French Loaf earlier, but I would never enter any of their branches after today's experience. Needless to say that all the items were very expensive!

Quality of the place has gone down by a lot. All the food items looked old. Tasted just ok as well.nnOn the upside the staff was very helpful.nnTheir bread collection was earlier very impressive. Now, due to competition, there are several more promising and better options available.

They have a wide selection of products to offer, quality is very good. I am giving then 3 stars because of their reluctance to accept online payment. In fact that is an overall practice all over Kolkata, the street vendors to many establishments still prefer the archaic hard currency transfer.

Very dissatisfied and extremely poor service and hospitality :nI am a regular customer of French loaf but I was shocked today .At 9:50 am ,I had entered the shop and There was only one person inside the shop managing everything who was in a foul mood and gave me the change in coins . I simply asked him to give me in notes so he refused answering that you have to take coins . He even had several notes but still didn’t give . At last when I told him that I would complain against his behaviour , he stood up threateningly to attack me and screamed at me and said that he didn’t care about his service.I am very disappointed at such hospitality and don’t think that I will be able to enter the shop again if that person is still there with the fear that he might attack at me. I would like French Loaf to take the necessary actions against this matter and this person.
