Awful packing, no care taken at all. Broke my coffee table glass then claimed it was my fault and that the floor was slipper. Refused any responsibility!!!!nnService has been awful and they’re not even a cheap company to use.nnTrust me, avoid these guys, absolute jokers. The management company is even worse. Got a notification that my goods are still in HK after two months after they were picked up after having been charged extra money for shipping!!!! Apparently they can't ship the goods until they get all the relevant customs documents even though it takes 35 days for the goods to arrive!!!! Not to mention that the management coordinator never even mentioned this until i asked what the ETA was. Who does that???? Absolute joke!!!!!
Appalling experience of an international move. Poor handling from packing in Hong Kong to unpacking in New Zealand. The affiliated Insurance company interprets the terms by choosing and picking the lowest possible compensation for the damages done by the movers’ handling. Allied is a company you should avoid at all costs. We have lost not just money. It’s those items we can never replace that breaks our hearts.
Overall very good. Starting with the surveying visit. Very professionally done by Thomas, including visiting our new site to check access etc. Before giving a quote.nPaperwork was clear, prompt and queries dealt with quickly. Move team was fast! A little too fast to keep up with in terms of unpacking but they knew what they were doing ! Nothing broken /damaged including a lot of glass. Thank you !
TERRIBLE second experience. We used their local moving service two years ago and it was great. However, it’s EXTREMELY horrible for this time.nnFirst of all, they took a pack of keys that I put in the living room (corner area). Those are the keys that I have to return them to the landlord for the old flat the next day. They claimed that they didn’t take it and said we might have left that at the old flat, they would never take this and they must ask us before they take anything like keys.nnSecondly, I was busy focusing on finding the keys, around 5:30pm, they started to ask to sign off and left a big mess behind, they literally didn’t unpack anything (probably 30%) but just dumped everything on the floor or kitchen counter randomly, there were still at least 20 boxes were unpacked.(We moved to a bigger house! Not that there is not enough space.)nnAfter they left, we spend almost 2 hours looked everywhere and even went back to the old flat to see if we can find the keys. We ended up opened the cutlery drawer in the Kitchen and found that they put the packed of keys underneath all the messy the cutleries!nnI would say it’s a very stressful day overall, and I still have a lot to unpack now! We paid a lot more than other moving companies but got hassle like this! It’s just terrible.
