I sent my Cresta 2.8Z for repairing stiffness in steering wheel. They insisted on replacing steering Rack, saying it's 'dangerous'. We agreed. They sent quote which we approved. Later, bill received for much higher. When questioned, they said 'computer mistake'. Toyota???nPost 3 months, the steering wheel is still as stiff as a truck.nWe again sent car, to hear that it's 'perfect'. We insisted on driving a similar car,. Was smooth. Yet Shaw Toyota said, it's hydraulic steering wheel and not electronic so it's like this only.nMy question is... Does Shaw Toyota have capable mechanics or are they here to fleece customers.nNeed a proper reply from Toyota.
