OYO 37824 Shri Home Annexe

I stayed at the hotel for 3 days between Nov 12 - Nov 15, 2019. Let me put my honest review in the following points:n1. Location- Difficult to find in the map. Local cab driver had difficulty in locating.nn2. Distance from Naini lake- 1 km uphill. Difficult for aged persons to walk. Cars charges 200 INR just to drop you at hotel after evening walk along the Nainital lake.nn3. Hotel charges- 2000 INR approx. Overpriced compared to the room qualitynn4. Staff behavior- Politenn5. Warning-n> In case you take the cab service from the hotel, you might find yourself waiting in the road at night while the car goes to fetch the daughter of the hotel owner forcing you to share the cab space with another person while you being charged the fare.nn>At the time of check-out, water supply was stopped in my room. We were told to use the bathroom of another room. Beyond understanding how come one room had no water supply while the adjacent room still had.nn> Remote location also makes you more dependent on the hotel cab service if you need to check out early in the morning. Local cab/taxi stand are 1 km downhill.nn6. Acknowledgement - One of the staff who dropped us was very polite and gentle. So had to thank him for being different from his companions and dropping us safely at Kathgodam Railway Station at 8AM.nnSuggestion- Many budget hotels are located in the Mall Road ( plain land) facing the lake. Mall road also offers easy availability of cab/taxi services.

Amazing view but one hell of a hike on foot.

Very nice and helpful staff ,, rooms are also very clean and location is very beautiful from the hotelnBut it is little far from the busstandnnLocation was little far from boathouse, but it was okay. Food quality, quantity sufficient. Service was so good. Hotel staff will help you in all condition.

Such a awesome place to stay with family. U can get Nice view of nainital from balcony. And most importantly the hospitality of this place is awesome. And special thabks to mohis for such an awesome work. Thanks dear GBU.

Very ordinary home stay, having low infrastructure.Staffs are good but not the management. Located at 1km high ascent from mall road. Floors & walls are not clean even with wooden finish. But it has a good view of lake from balcony. Foods are okay. Water supply had some issue during my stay. Overall not worth of money spend.
